2016-1-23 Another week en el campo

(Oops...I posted this one out of order, but the date in the heading is correct! --Kathy)

Hey, how's everybody?

Doing well, we had a "Mormon Battalion" (it took me three tries to spell that correctly... I think correctly, at least...) in another area today; that's where all the companionships from the zone (fifteen missionaries, all told) go down to work in one area for a day, or a few hours, to visit less active members and to look for new investigators. That took up a large chunk of our P-day, so we're putting in a little time to write right now.

The photo's from this week when a sister gave us a referral to go visit... she told us the street number, what side streets it was between, and that it was the house "made of wood" because she didn't know the number. Often, that would be enough, but take a look at the photo...

Wasn't quite that easy... We got to knocking doors, haha. It's ok, though, we found her pretty quickly. It was a good week, found a few new less active families to teach, saw a few miracles, and still trying to get our investigators married so they can get baptized! Puras complicaciones... But it'll happen, I can feel it in my bones! And my heart... where's there's a will, there's a way, and there is a will. A few of them.

Deuteronomy 6

4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

P.S. We had a worldwide missionary training broadcast with some apostles this week, as well... Remind me to talk more about that next week... Really special!
